Working primarily with found, salvaged, and recycled objects and materials, Brad Devlin shapes these cast-offs into abstract compositions and sculptures. One of the first artists in Louisville to adopt the found-object approach into his artistic style, Brad has been working with discarded material for over 20 years, allowing the condition of those materials to inform his compositions. Referring to his exclusive use of found materials, Brad calls it an “overt environmental statement”- creating quirky pieces of art that seem to have personalities and stories of their own.
